Our treatments involve close contact and direct touch to the face and scalp. If you're uncertain whether your condition is contagious, please consult your healthcare provider or contact us before your appointment.

We're happy to reschedule at no charge once your condition has resolved. Thank you for helping us maintain Head in the Clouds as a safe, healing sanctuary for everyone.

  • Our specialized scalp treatments are designed for natural hair. We strongly recommend scheduling your appointment when you do not have hair extensions installed or opt for the “dry head spa” or “ facial massage” options.

Our steam therapy, botanical oils, and massage techniques require direct scalp access for maximum effectiveness. Extensions significantly limit our ability to treat your scalp properly and may be damaged or loosened by our treatments.

  • Yes, please feel free to stop by and purchase a gift card in store!

  • What should I wear to my appointment?

Wear comfortable clothing. We provide robes and will protect your clothing during treatments. Avoid wearing heavy makeup if you're receiving facial services.

Should I wash my hair before coming? No need! We'll cleanse your scalp as part of your treatment. Come as you are.

Can I wear jewelry during treatments? We recommend removing earrings and necklaces for maximum comfort during scalp and facial massage.

Should I arrive early? Please arrive 10-15 minutes early for your first visit to complete intake forms. For return visits, arriving 5 minutes early is perfect.

What if I’m late? Depending on our scheduled bookings, we may not be able to accomidate your appointment if you are 10 or more minutes late.

  • How far in advance should I book?

We recommend booking 2-4 weeks in advance, especially for weekend appointments. New clients should allow extra time for consultation.

    What is your cancellation policy?

We require 48 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee.

Can I book multiple services in one visit?

Yes! We can combine treatments for a longer, more immersive experience. Contact us to create a custom session.

    Do you accommodate walk-ins?

We operate primarily by appointment to ensure each guest receives our full attention. Please call to check same-day availability.

  • Can I receive services if I'm pregnant?

Congratulations! We welcome expectant mothers and many of our treatments can be wonderfully relaxing during pregnancy. However, there are some important considerations:

    Safe During Pregnancy (with modifications):

    • Scalp treatments and massage (avoiding certain pressure points)

    • Gentle facial massage and skincare

    • Steam treatments (at reduced temperature)

    • Most botanical products (we'll review ingredients)

    We'll Modify:

    • Positioning for your comfort (especially in second and third trimesters)

    • Pressure and techniques to avoid stimulating labor-inducing points

    • Product selection to ensure pregnancy-safe ingredients

    • Treatment duration if needed

    Please Inform Us:

    • Which trimester you're in when booking

    • Any pregnancy complications or restrictions from your doctor

    • If you're experiencing morning sickness, swelling, or sensitivity

    We Recommend Avoiding:

    • First trimester (if you prefer to wait until after the critical development period)

    • Buccal facial massage during pregnancy due to internal mouth work

    • Very hot steam or heat treatments

    • Certain essential oils (we'll avoid these automatically)

Please Note: If you have a high-risk pregnancy, are experiencing complications, or have been advised to avoid massage by your healthcare provider, please consult your doctor before booking.

After Your Baby Arrives: Many new mothers find our treatments especially restorative postpartum.

  • To ensure a tranquil environment for all of our guests, loud noises and the use of phones conversations or video conferencing devices are strictly prohibited. If there is an emergency, please take your phone call outside of the spa to not disturb other clients.
